Pirates prospect interview: Tyler Waldron

Right-hander Tyler Waldron was a starter during the regular season, but pitched strictly out of the bullpen in the Arizona Fall League. In ten outings in the AFL, he threw 14.1 innings, giving up just eight hits, and posted a 3.14 ERA. At Single A Bradenton and Double A Altoona, Waldron was a combined 8-10 with a 4.89 ERA.'s George Von Benko caught up with Waldron recently.

GVB – Were you happy with the season you had this past year? TW – Looking back on it there were definitely some really good parts and some not so good parts, but it was my second year and I thought I learned more this past year than I did my first year.
