| Biography: |
| Heller, a 2005 graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School, is currently the starting shortstop at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL. He missed the entire 2006 campaign due to an elbow injury, but in his first collegiate season as a red-shirt freshman in '07, he established himself as a legitimate professional prospect, leading the Tritons with a .370 batting average and 48 runs scored.
During his senior year of high school, he was named to the FHSAA Class 5A All-State First-Team.
Even with his diminutive size, Heller is a legitimate professional prospect for the draft class of 2009, and should see some pro interest come his way over the next few years. |
