Tyler Bortnick was a 16th-round pick out of Coastal Carolina University in 2009 and last season the 24-year-old Ohio native had a banner year. He led the Florida State League in stolen bases and on- base-percentage and capped it off by being chosen to participate in the Arizona Fall League Rising Stars game.
